Lost his father to lymphoma
“My dad – Lowell Long – was diagnosed with lymphoma in the fall of 2003. He underwent intensive treatment at Duke University, including a rigorous chemotherapy regimen and a bone marrow transplant. For a time, we were hopeful he had beaten it, but the cancer returned, and we lost him in October 2005.
Being part of Harmony4Hope is deeply meaningful to me. It’s a way to honor my dad’s memory while supporting the vital work being done to advance lymphoma research. Each year at the event, I’ve had the privilege of connecting with survivors, families, and physicians—hearing their stories and witnessing the progress in treatment gives me hope and reminds me why this cause matters so much.
I'm grateful to be involved again this year and happy to support the Lymphoma Research Foundation’s mission."
